The act of painting has always been exquisitely joyous to me and while I am involved in the process of creating, the illusion of time vanishes...I become lost in the moment. When capturing the beauty of flowers and animals and depicting these precious subjects with the magic of sparkling light and luminous color, enchantment envelops my entire being. Words cannot describe what a delicious sense of wonder it is to watch the image I have envisioned emerge on the watercolor paper. It is my intention that the loving spirit, or "essence" that I bring to my paintings evokes a sense of serenity, healing, joy and peace to my viewers.
